If you’re a carb-o-holic and love feta cheese, this is the recipe for you! It can be made with just about any bread imaginable, but a flat bread or a pizza dough work well! Serves 4.
- 1 medium-large flat bread or store bought pizza dough
- 1 package of feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 red or white onion sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. sea salt or garlic salt
- 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp. oregano or herb of your choice
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place bread on baking sheet.
- Mix oil and herbs in small mixing bowl.
- Brush both sides of bread with oil mixture.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides as well.
- Top with feta crumbles and onion.
- Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes (depending on oven), but you will look for the crust to have a golden look to it.
