Grape Leaf and Grilled Feta Wraps

Exotic and very simple appetizer. You will need a grill or grill pan, and brush for oil. Serves 4.

  • 12-16 grape leaves, packed in brine
  • 8 oz. package of solid feta cheese, cut in approx. 1″ squares
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (the good stuff)


  1. Preheat grill.
  2. Unroll grape leaves and rinse with water.
  3. Boil and blanch grape leaves 2-3 minutes each.
  4. Transfer to bowl with cold water.
  5. Drain and pat dry. Set leaves aside.
  6. Vein side up, snip off stem with scissors.
  7. Pace feta on center of leaf and fold sides tightly.
  8. Skewer through the center.
  9. Brush with olive oil.
  10. Grill for 3-5 minutes turning often.
  11. Serve hot!
