Ground turkey is LOADED with fresh Mediterranean ingredients creating a lovely and healthy burger.

  • 1 lb. ground lean turkey
  • 2 tbsp. red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup kalamata olives, chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • pita pockets
  • tzatziki sauce (see our Easy Tzatziki recipe)
  • burger fixings of your choice (fresh spinach, tomatoes, whatever you like!)

 

  1. Pre-heat grill.
  2. In bowl, mix ground turkey with onion, olives, feta, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form 4 burger patties.
  3. Prepare tzatziki sauce.
  4. Grill burger patties until cooked through.
  5. Put patties in pita pockets, add a generous amount of tzatziki and any additional fixings of your choice. Enjoy!
