Ground turkey is LOADED with fresh Mediterranean ingredients creating a lovely and healthy burger.
- 1 lb. ground lean turkey
- 2 tbsp. red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup kalamata olives, chopped
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
- pita pockets
- tzatziki sauce (see our Easy Tzatziki recipe)
- burger fixings of your choice (fresh spinach, tomatoes, whatever you like!)
- Pre-heat grill.
- In bowl, mix ground turkey with onion, olives, feta, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form 4 burger patties.
- Prepare tzatziki sauce.
- Grill burger patties until cooked through.
- Put patties in pita pockets, add a generous amount of tzatziki and any additional fixings of your choice. Enjoy!
