Philly Cheese Steak Flat-bread

Prepare ahead of time if you like, and toss in the oven 10 minutes before serving time!  Serves 4.

  • 1 med/large flat-bread
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green pepper thinly chopped
  • 1 small onion thinly chopped
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced fresh deli roast beef
  • 6 ounces provolone (or white american cheese)
  • 1 tsp finely minced garlic
  • finish off with sea salt and pepper

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. Brush both sides of flat-bread with olive oil and place on foil lined baking sheet.
  3. Spread garlic over the top, lightly add salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 2-3 minutes to crisp bread slightly.
  5. Remove and add beef, peppers, onion, and cheese on top.
  6. Return to oven and bake until cheese is completely melted.
