Try introducing whole grain pizza to your kids! If they are healthy and active, they’ll be more likely to make healthy eating choices. Serves 2.
- whole grain pita bread, cut in half and toasted
- 1/2 cup of your favorite pasta sauce or marinara
- one serving of shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
- Cut pita bread in half.
- Toast on medium setting.
- Fill pocket with sauce and cheese.
- Heat in microwave for 1 minute.
- Serve with baby carrots or favorite fresh veggie.
