Healthy Kids Pizza Pocket

Try introducing whole grain pizza to your kids! If they are healthy and active, they’ll be more likely to make healthy eating choices. Serves 2.

  • whole grain pita bread, cut in half and toasted
  • 1/2 cup of your favorite pasta sauce or marinara
  • one serving of shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
  1. Cut pita bread in half.
  2. Toast on medium setting.
  3. Fill pocket with sauce and cheese.
  4. Heat in microwave for 1 minute.
  5. Serve with baby carrots or favorite fresh veggie.
