Semi-Homemade, quick and simple black bean soup. Serves 2.



  • 1 can, strained black beans and 1/2 can water
  • 1/4 cup half and half or cream
  • 1/4 cup spicy or mild salsa of your choice
  • 2 tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. extra salsa



  1. Puree beans and salsa in food processor until smooth.
  2. Heat mixture over medium, add cream, stir well.
  3. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator.

*Garnish with a dollop of sour cream as well as a dollop of salsa.
