How to add a little extra color and texture to your plate. Wonderful and more flavorful parsley alternative!
- 1 small sauteed pan
- 1/2 cup oil
- fresh, washed, moisture removed basil leaves (3 per plate)
- Heat oil in pan over medium.
- Gently add basil leaves one at a time and leave in oil until both sides are crispy.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towel.
- Top your favorite seafood, pasta, or poultry dishes with your choice of sauce and finish with leaves.
