Here’s a simple take on the typical (high cal., but delicious) breakfast sandwich. This breakfast sandwich recipe is perfect for those of you counting calories. Kickstart your day with this bad boy!

  • 1 mini bagel (100 calories)
  • 1 egg (70 calories or even just use whites!)
  • 1 slice of bacon (35 calories), cut in half
  • 1/2 slice of American cheese (white, 35 calories)
  1. Microwave bacon (according to packaging instructions).
  2. Spray pan with a light coating of cooking spray.
  3. Cook egg and break apart yolk.
  4. Top with cheese,until melted.
  5. Toast bagel.
  6. Top with egg, cheese, and bacon.
