How to make home-made ginger beer for dark and stormy cocktails!
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 5 tsp. fresh bottled/ground ginger
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups sparkling water (Pellegrino or Perrier)
- Combine ginger, cold water, and lime juice in blender.
- Blend until mixed well.
- Strain with ultra fine strainer or cheesecloth.
- Discard ginger and pulp.
- Add sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
- Add Sparkling water.
- Serve over ice.
