No need to use the store bought pie crust, when it’s so simple to whip one up yourself.
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- ¾-1 cup shortening
- Combine the flour, salt and shortening in a mixing bowl until crumbly in texture.
- Mix in water gradually until evenly absorbed.
- Roll pie dough into a ball and divide into two portions.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and store in fridge until needed.
