There’s nothing like some warm, spiced pumpkin bread on a brisk fall day!

Pumpkin Bread
Recipe type: Dessert
 

Ingredients
  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. softened butter
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, whisked
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • ⅔ cup water

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease two 9×5 inch loaf pans.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Set aside.
  5. In a large bowl, beat together sugar, butter, oil, eggs, and pumpkin.
  6. Stir in flour mixture alternately with water.
  7. Pour half of the mixture in one pan and half in the other.
  8. Bake in oven for one hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Serve warm or room temperature.
