There’s nothing like some warm, spiced pumpkin bread on a brisk fall day!
Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. softened butter
- 3 cups white sugar
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, whisked
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- ⅔ cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together sugar, butter, oil, eggs, and pumpkin.
- Stir in flour mixture alternately with water.
- Pour half of the mixture in one pan and half in the other.
- Bake in oven for one hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Serve warm or room temperature.
