Candy cane infused hot cocoa. This is a great recipe for Christmas morning!
- 4 cups milk
- 3 hot chocolate packets or 3 servings of hot chocolate powder
- 4 peppermint candy canes, crushed
- 1 cup whipped cream
- In a medium saucepan, bring the milk, hot chocolate powder and 3 of the crushed candy canes to a simmer. Stir constantly with a wire whisk.
- Once the candy and powder has melted, pour into cute mugs.
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream and then sprinkle a little finely crushed candy cane.
