This frosting is so fun to make and works great with cakes/cupcakes!  Torch and mixer required.

This super fun frosting recipe also works as a pumpkin pie topping! Cut the recipe measurements in half for that!
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1½ cups egg whites

  1. Prepare a pot of boiling water on the stove.
  2. Now, place a metal mixing bowl over the top of the pot.
  3. Pour in the sugar and egg whites and stir constantly until all of the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Now, mix in the mini marshmallows and stir until dissolved.
  5. Next, transfer the mixture to a mixer and mix for 2-3 minutes or until it’s thickened!
  6. Spread the frosting over your cake or cupcakes.
  7. Play with the texture by pressing and releasing with a spoon or spreader.
  8. Once all of the frosting is in place, use a torch (approximately 2-3 inches from the surface) until it’s nice and toasted!

Enough frosting for up to 2 dozen average sized cupcakes or one 3 layer cake.
