OK, so I didn’t get a good shot of the Cilantro hummus because we ate it so quickly!

Author: Meredith Fuller
Recipe type: Appetizer, Mediterranean
This is one of my favorite recipes of all time. I kid you not! It's super simple and costs under $2 to make.
Ingredients
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- ¼-1/2 cup olive oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup cilantro leaves (even a little of the stems-ok)
- ¼ cup jarred jalapenos
- ¼ tsp. sea salt or garlic salt
Instructions
- Strain and rinse the garbanzo beans/chickpeas. (They can be a little stinky, that's ok, haha!)
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and chop.
- Grind until smooth.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
- Try it with tortilla chips! It tastes like Guacamole!
- Add a sliced avocado and a little lime juice for hummus guacamole!
