Serve this lovely potato dish to jazz up your traditional meat and potatoes night. Serves 4.
- 4-6 potatoes
- 1 tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 tbsp. pepper
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- garnish with fresh herbs
- Peel potatoes and rinse.
- Slice potatoes with mandolin or carefully with knife.
- In large zip-lock bag, add sliced potatoes,2 tbsp. olive oil, garlic salt and pepper.
- Using a nonstick pan, add 1 tbsp. oil and spread evenly.
- Layer potatoes in a tight circular motion until you complete full circle. Continue layering but not as tightly, but still in circular motion.
- Now, cook over med/low heat for about 15 minutes, but swirl pommes every few minutes to ensure that they are not sticking.
- Flip carefully and heat the other side for an additional 10 minutes.
