How to make apple sauce at home! This is a great way to use up extra apples!
Ingredients:
- 4 apples – peeled, cored and diced
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions:
- In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Cover, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are soft.
- Allow to cool, then mash with a fork or potato masher.
- Serve warm or chilled!
