The guys will demolish this nacho platter at half time! This recipe is best if served immediately after preparing.
  • ½ bag of Doritos (original flavor)
  • ½ bag of tortilla chips
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 packet taco mix
  • 1 cup Mexican style cheese
  • 1 jar of jalapeno cheese dip
  • 1 can refried beans
  1. Brown the taco meat with seasoning according to packaging instructions.
  2. Stir in the chopped onion adn bell pepper.
  3. Once the meat is cooked through, stir in the beans until warmed through and evenly distributed.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  5. In a rectangular Pyrex baking dish, place a layer of Doritos and tortilla chips.
  6. Top that with a bit of meat mixture and then a layer of Mexican cheese.
  7. Drizzle a bit of the Cheese sauce on top of that.
  8. Layer #2, more chips, meat and cheese followed by sauce.
  9. Layer #3, the remaining chips, cheese and sauce.
  10. Bake covered with foil for 10 minutes.
