This frosting is so fun to make and works great with cakes/cupcakes! Torch and mixer required.
Toasted Marshmallow Frosting

This super fun frosting recipe also works as a pumpkin pie topping! Cut the recipe measurements in half for that!
Ingredients
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 2½ cups granulated sugar
- 1½ cups egg whites
Instructions
- Prepare a pot of boiling water on the stove.
- Now, place a metal mixing bowl over the top of the pot.
- Pour in the sugar and egg whites and stir constantly until all of the sugar is dissolved.
- Now, mix in the mini marshmallows and stir until dissolved.
- Next, transfer the mixture to a mixer and mix for 2-3 minutes or until it's thickened!
- Spread the frosting over your cake or cupcakes.
- Play with the texture by pressing and releasing with a spoon or spreader.
- Once all of the frosting is in place, use a torch (approximately 2-3 inches from the surface) until it's nice and toasted!
Notes
Enough frosting for up to 2 dozen average sized cupcakes or one 3 layer cake.
