Here’s how to make a pie crust without shortening!

Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter (I use I can't Believe it's Not Butter) ½ cup
- 1⅓ cup all purpose flour
- dash of sea salt
- ¼ cup chilled water
Instructions
- I used a potato masher to blend the butter, flour and salt.
- Once the flour mixture is crumbly, gradually add the chilled water and ball up.
- Place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Roll out the dough over a dusting of flour.
- Add filling.
- I made an apple pie roll (long and slender rolled pie).
- Prick with a fork across the top.
- Bake until flaky and light golden in color.
