These little meatball sandwiches are just the thing to serve at your next party or fun dinner idea!

 

 

Mini TurChicken Meatball Sandwiches

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 lb. ground chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic, shredded
  • 1 small white or red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp. sea salt
  • oil for frying
  • 1 jar of your favorite marinara sauce (24 oz.)
  • 8 oz. bag of shredded mozzarella
  • 2 dozen small soft rolls
Instructions
  1. Mix the turkey, chicken, chopped onion, garlic, salt, and seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  3. Shape the meatballs to fit the size of your bun well. you can even flatten the ball a little to fit the bun better.
  4. Once you have all of the meatballs made.
  5. Give them a quick fry on the stove.
  6. Place the balls on a deep baking sheet spaced apart (slightly).
  7. Paint the meatballs with about half of the jar of sauce.
  8. Reserve the rest for the sandwiches.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle them with cheese.
  11. Bake another 2-3 minutes.
  12. Heat the sauce
  13. Warm the buns.
  14. Arrange the sandwiches with one meatball, a little drizzling of sauce.
  15. Enjoy!
