Smoked Pork Butt
Ingredients
- 5 lb. pork butt
- Lawrys Seasoning Salt (Low Sodium) to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Hickory Wood Chips
Instructions
- Follow the instructions on your smoker guide book low & slow smoking.
- We used a Char-Broil Electric Roaster Smoker.
- Position the meat higher in the smoker for more smokey flavor.
- Smoke until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.
- If you'd like more of a pulled pork style, remove the pork butt at 165 F and smother in your favorite BBQ sauce.
- Wrap in foil and allow the internal temperature to reach 190 F.
- Let the meat sit for 15 minutes on a plate untouched.
