Smoked Pork Butt
Ingredients
  • 5 lb. pork butt
  • Lawrys Seasoning Salt (Low Sodium) to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Hickory Wood Chips
Instructions
  1. Follow the instructions on your smoker guide book low & slow smoking.
  2. We used a Char-Broil Electric Roaster Smoker.
  3. Position the meat higher in the smoker for more smokey flavor.
  4. Smoke until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.
  5. If you'd like more of a pulled pork style, remove the pork butt at 165 F and smother in your favorite BBQ sauce.
  6. Wrap in foil and allow the internal temperature to reach 190 F.
  7. Let the meat sit for 15 minutes on a plate untouched.
